Cancellation Policy

Terms and Conditions of Hire & Services from The Creative Duo Sydney By making payment of this invoice, you acknowledge and agree to the following Terms and Conditions: 1. Bond Fee • A $150 bond fee is automatically added to your total hire amount. • The bond will be refunded within 24 hours after collection, provided that all hired items are returned in the same condition they were provided, subject to inspection. 2. Responsibility for Hired Items • The hirer accepts full responsibility and liability for all items during the hire period. • The hirer agrees to pay for any loss, breakage, or damage to the items. • If an item is damaged beyond repair or lost, the hirer must pay the full replacement cost, as determined by The Creative Duo. This cost is in addition to the bond. • A replacement fee invoice will be issued, which must be paid in full within the timeframe specified by The Creative Duo. 3. Safe Use of Items • The hirer agrees to use all items safely and solely for their intended purpose. • The hirer must follow any instructions or guidance provided by The Creative Duo regarding the handling and setup of items. • The Creative Duo accepts no liability for any injury, loss, or damage resulting from the use of hired items. 4. Booking and Payment • Bookings are not confirmed until full payment of the invoice (including the bond) has been received. • Items will not be held without full payment. 5. Late Return Fees • All hired items must be returned or made available for collection at the agreed time. • Items returned late will incur a late fee of $50 per day, deducted from the bond or invoiced separately if the bond does not cover it. 6. Photography Permission • The Creative Duo reserves the right to photograph hired setups and props during the hire period for promotional purposes, including use on our website, social media, and marketing materials. • If you do not consent to photography, please advise us in writing prior to the hire date. 7. Cancellation and Refunds • Cancellations made more than 14 days prior to the hire date will receive a full refund. Cancellations made within 7 days will forfeit 50% of the hire fee. Agreement By paying the invoice, the hirer confirms they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
